Prayer is communication with the Most High. It is a direct line to Jesus that offers our thanksgiving, love, praise, and requests. He is so gracious to hear us. What a loving God! “Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what to pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” If Jesus had not left The Holy Spirit with us when His holy body departed from the earth, where would we be? The Spirit is a gift that is to helps us and makes a way for our prayers to be heard. This a method beyond human understanding but without it our prayers would not be geared for His listening ear. Let us rejoice in knowing God wants to hear from us, His children, and that He provides and makes Himself available as we call on Him daily. Though is glory and majesty far outreach our ideals, He still finds it necessary to meet us where we are and answer our prayers, time and time again.
In Mark Chapter 11 Jesus leaves us this promise, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Thank you Jesus Christ for your loving, encouraging Word.
